To ensure my success in the Center for Access and Postsecondary Success (CAPS) Summer Bridge Program and as a first-year student at UConn, I commit to the following:

• I will enroll in up to eight (8) academic credits during the CAPS Summer Bridge Program and fully participate in classes and activities.
• I will abide by all Summer Bridge Program rules, regulations, and the University's Student Code of Conduct.
• I will attend all Summer Bridge Program classes daily, arrive on time, and complete class assignments by posted due dates.
• I will meet with a CAPS advisor for one-on-one check-ins at least three times or as instructed during the Summer Bridge Program.
• I will participate in tutoring when recommended or as needed and meet with my assigned Summer Bridge Program tutor as directed.
• I will enroll in a CAPS First Year Experience (FYE) course during the fall semester and schedule regular check-ins with my CAPS advisor.
• I understand that if I receive a grade lower than a "C" for any course offered during the Summer Bridge Program, I will not earn credit for that course.  I will take a comparable course during the following fall semester as part of the University requirement.

I understand that my admission to the University of Connecticut is contingent upon the successful completion of the CAPS Summer Bridge Program.  Furthermore, I understand that if I do not comply with the above, I may not matriculate to the University in the fall.
