Upward Bound/ConnCAP Norwich Free Academy

  • The Upward Bound/ConnCAP Program serves 60 students from Norwich Free Academy.
  • Students are recruited into the program starting their freshman year and continue working with their Upward Bound/ConnCAP Advisor until they graduate from Norwich Free Academy.
  • The Director provides academic advising throughout the day and tutoring and mentoring services afterschool. The Director also will work closely with the school administrators and staff in ensuring the success of each student.
  • In the summer, students participate in a 6-week academic program at the UConn Avery Point campus located in Groton.
